This is my first voice over video - eeek! - but my hope is to make more videos like this so that I can teach you in a better way.
For today's video I wanted to use the Jar of Love stamp and die set from Stampin' Up. This was in the catalog a few years ago and I loved the Halloween and Christmas add-on stamps they came out with for the Holiday catalog in 2016. However I had not really used the Jar of Love stamp set before now and wanted to share this with you.
It's a really easy two-step stamping technique that anyone can do and as you add layers of the stems and foliage into the jar you're going to create a whole picture that has depth and dimension.
As you can see below the 'water' is sparkly and shiny, just by adding the Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle pen to it. Don't worry you don't need to have this pen to do this you can also use a Zig Wink of Stella Clear pen or if you have any shimmery/sparkly paints/stickles/glitter you can use these too. As long as you make sure you use a clear version or a tiny/diluted/watered down amount. You want to be able to still see the color of the 'water' but add the shimmer to it.
You guys know how much I love Stampin' Up and that I was a demonstrator for a while and I just can't resist going back to older products to re-use them in new ways or in this case use them for the first time LOL.
Please tell me I'm not the only crafter who buys new product and then forgets to use it? :)
