Hope you're having a lovely start to your weekend, I know I am!  I've started clearing out the rubbish from my craft room and man does it feel great to de-clutter! I've 4 bin liners full already - crazy huh?  I think so!

Just a quick post today but wanted to share something else with you...we have SNOW! woohoo!  I absolutely love it when it snows just don't like the disruption in getting to places but still it's so beautiful!  So here's a couple pictures from my back garden. Almost looks twilight-like.

New Year, New You

Hi guys

Well I know it's already day 6 of the new year and one of my resolutions was to keep my blog updated and keep you posted on what's going on in my little world, but I'd thought I'd finally make a start.

It's taken me a few days to get into the new year but we've now taken down the Christmas deco's and the house feels empty and looks so much bigger, I've also started on my lose weight regime.  It's going well so far and I'm not really dieting per say but I'm eating smaller portions and watching what I'm eating (and keeping a food/drink diary).  I've also been doing Davina McCalls dvd The Power of 3 and it's really good, well for me it's really good and she makes me giggle so it keeps it fun.

I've also slowly started going through the things that I just don't need/want and so am having a clear out of the 'junk' in my house.  Things that are no longer needed got to go.  That feels really good to do too (as well as eating well and exercising) as it's a fairly simple way of making you feel like you've accomplished something even if it's a small area or a drawer.  I'm not going to rush through it either, just going to do it as and when I feel it's time.  I think we try to cram so much into our days/weeks/months that when we don't do it all we let ourselves down and it shouldn't be like that.  This is a positive thing to do.

I'm still hoping to get some video's up and running (gotta get my brave cap on first)!  I am really looking forward to doing that but I'm a bit of a nervous nelly LOL!

I hope all of you enjoyed the festive season and are having a wonderful start to the new year.  They say 13 is lucky for some - let it be for all of us!

Sorry guys forgot to say that I've changed my blog to try and make it fresh for the new year and if you're looking for the buttons/archive/about me/subscribe etc they've on the right hand side of the blog.  There's a little grey bar and when you put your mouse over it they'll pop out. Not sure if I like this as it's not easy to see but we'll see. Maybe you can let me know what you think by commenting?
