All Die Cut Christmas Slimline Card using Windsor & Newton Cotman Paints

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. This is the last in the slimline series for this week and I hope you love it too. There are so many snowmen in this one and it was super fun to put together and create. I used Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolor paints for the background (very easy watercoloring) and Cricut cut files from Winter Frolic for the images. I basically picked all the snowmen in Winter Frolic, chose some colors, and cut them out. Super simple. Anyone can do this! I hope you enjoy the video, linked below, and have a Happy Halloween too! Bye for now.

All Die Cut Halloween Slimline Card using Windsor & Newton Cotman Paints

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. I hope you enjoy today's slimline Halloween card as much as I enjoyed making it. It's super simple to do and so much fun to get your watercolors out and paint. I used Windsor & Newton Cotman watercolor paints and cold press paper for the background, Cricut cut files from Bump in the Night image set/cartridge for the little monsters and some Dr Marten's Bombay India Ink for splatter. This is probably my favorite card this week because well it's Halloween and the colors just spoke to me :) Link to the video is below as always for you. I hope you love it too! Bye for now.

Mama Elephant A Cookie Christmas & Let's Go Caroling | Winter Scene Slimline Card

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. I hope you enjoy today's card as much as I loved creating it. You all know I love a scene card and this one is no exception. I used Mama Elephant's A Cookie Christmas & Let's Go Caroling stamps which I cut using my Brother Scan n Cut machine. I used Tim Holtz Distress inks for the background, which is a very simple background so anyone can do it. I also used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and their own blender marker to color all the images in. They're so much more vibrant IRL. It took a long time to color them all in as there are so many that I used but it was so much fun to do and I'm really please with how it turned out. Link to the video is below for you. Bye for now.

Mama Elephant Plushoween | Creepy Halloween Card

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. I'm super excited to share today's card with you. I was so chuffed with how it turned out as I came up with a few ideas that got my creep on and made me giggle at the same time :). I used a Mama Elephant stamp set called Plushoween and various Lawn Fawn and Stampin' Up dies. No card, especially a Halloween card, is complete without Tim Holtz Distress ink to make things look messed up and dirty. It was so much fun to make. I also used Tim Holtz Distress markers to watercolor the stamped images in before I cut them out using my Brother Scan n Cut machine. I use this machine for most stamped images that I need to cut out. Very occasionally will I buy coordinating dies. I hope you find this card creepy fun! Link to the video is below for you. Bye for now.

Mama Elephant Botanic Hello | Watercolor with Re-Inkers

Hello friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. Today's card is one that I've loved creating. I use some re-inkers from Stampin' Up to watercolor a Mama Elephant stamp. It was loads of fun to do and just remember that your re-inkers will go a very very long way so be careful when adding to your mat to use. There is a special little message at the end of the video so I hope you'll stay to see that. I hope you enjoy this fun technique. The video is linked below as always for you. Bye for now.

Tim Holtz Mini Bird Crazy, Cats and Dogs Christmas Cards

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. This is the final spread in this week's Tim Holtz Bird Crazy & Things, Cats & Dogs stamps and dies. I used these in three different ways this week to show you how you can use one stamp set and create for different occasions. It's super easy and super fun. Just let your imagination fly. If you can think it you can make it :) I also used Distress inks for the edges and in a previous couple of videos, click here to see them, I show how I made the backgrounds in these cards using baby wipes. I hope you enjoy this week's project and I'll see you next week for more fun. Bye for now.

Tim Holtz Mini Bird Crazy, Cats and Dogs Halloween Cards

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. Today's cards are similar to Tuesday's tutorial but have a Halloween twist. So if you need to mass produce then this is a great way to do it. Make all your card bases at once, then cut the first layer, then cut the second layer, then stamp, color and cut out your images and you're good to go. It's super fun to do and really easy if you need more than one card. It's great to do for celebration times too as we're normally making a bunch of cards at that point. I used Tim Holtz Bird Crazy & Things, Cats and Dogs stamps and dies. I also used Distress inks to watercolor the images. The backgrounds are from a previous video, click here to see the playlist, where I used baby wipes to create a faux letterpress type look. I hope you enjoy this one. Link to the video is below as always. Bye for now.

Tim Holtz Mini Bird Crazy, Cats and Dogs Birthday Cards

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. I'm super excited to showcase Tim Holtz Mini Bird Crazy & Things, Cats & Dogs. These are super fun and already distressed and stressed looking so they made me giggle a lot while making these cards. I also wanted to show you that you can take a stamp set where the images are not conventional and make them into birthday cards/projects. When you first look at these little guys you might not think 'happy birthday' but I did - that's my weird little mind :) They're super fun to make and the dies cut them out so wonderfully, even the bits in between the legs etc. I also show how I used some backgrounds I made in a previous couple of videos, click here to see them, to create some cards. That's sometimes the hard bit is knowing what to do with the backgrounds you create after the moment. They're fun to make but then what? Well hopefully this will inspire you. The link to today's tutorial is below as always. Bye for now.

Art Journal Page with Tim Holtz Mini Holidays 3 and Winter Wonder

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. Today's art journal page is a fun and festive Christmas themed one. I used Tim Holtz Mini Holidays 3 stamps, Winter Wonder Bigz dies and of course Distress inks for a wintery journal page. I hope you enjoy it. Link to the video is below for you as always. Bye for now.

Free Form Art Journal Page with Tim Holtz Spooky Stuff

Hi friends, welcome back to my blog and channel. Today's art journal page is very free form and whimsical and just what came out at the time. If you don't know already, I use art journaling as a way to get my emotions out because I struggle to talk or write those things down. I hope this page in particular inspires you to create something today even though this is Halloween inspired. Something that just speaks to you or just happens when you pick up your paint brush, marker, pen, pencil or whatever medium you choose. Getting back to art journaling for me has been a revelation and something I really need right now. Having said that this doesn't mean that I won't be making cards/scrapbook pages anymore, of course I will, it just means that I'm following my art journey right now. So you'll see more variety of artsy crafty stuff from me and my hope is that I can inspire you to do something different or to re-ignite your inner artist. The link to the video is below as always. I hope you enjoy this. Bye for now.

Art Journal Page with Tim Holtz Fairytale Frenzy and Heart Wings

Hi friends, welcome back! I decided to reach into my inner emotional wreckage and do some art journaling which I haven't done for such a long time! It really was good fun to do and I'm back! I loved it and got so excited about it. The great thing about art journaling is that it's a free form way to express yourself in art form. I use it as a way to get my emotions out because I don't know how to talk it out or write it out. So I make art instead. There is definitely something therapeutic about it so I hope that you'll give it a whirl even if it's just to create something beautiful. I used Tim Holtz's Fairytale Frenzy stamps, Heart Wings Bigz die and Bricked stencil along with some Nuvo Embellishment Mousse and embossing powder to create this page. The link to the full tutorial video is below as always. Bye for now.
